I was up late Tuesday night... playing a video game called Amplitude. Kelly came out of the bedroom and I thought she was going to yell at me 'cause I was up so late. Instead she let me know she was going into labor. :-) So 14 hours later Ari was born at our house in San Jose at 2pm on March 1st, 2006. He was a mere 9 pounds 6 ounces*. Phew. He has the same birthday as his Grandpa Bill. Ari's middle name comes from my dad's father, Papa Lou.
We're all doing great and Jonah likes his new baby brother. He says funny things like "Ari wearin' a sleepin' hat." I'll see if I can put together the "Jonah comes home from daycare" short film some time soon. Click the images below for bigger ones. For the grandparents who need to see every single detail here are the huge highest res versions.
* For those of you that aren't so familiar with babies, 9 pounds 6 ounces is really big.
